Café Favorie was born from a simple belief: Rwanda deserves a café that celebrates our culture, coffee, and community with the same excellence found anywhere in the world.

Our journey began with a beloved bakery in Kigali, where we perfected the art of fresh bread and pastries using local ingredients and traditional techniques. As we served our Kimironko neighbors day after day, we recognized a need, a space where people could not only enjoy quality food and Rwandan coffee but truly belong.

In 2025, we expanded our bakery into a full café experience in Kimironko, Kigali. We partnered with Rwandan coffee cooperatives in Huye, Nyamasheke, and Rubavu to source the finest beans our country offers. We designed a modern, comfortable space that honors Rwandan craftsmanship through contemporary design. We assembled a team passionate about service, community, and making every customer feel at home.

Today, Café Favorie stands as Kimironko’s destination for authentic Rwandan coffee culture – a place where students study for exams, entrepreneurs build businesses, friends celebrate milestones, and everyone discovers pride in what Rwanda offers the world.
